Whip-Lash University (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the “App”). Please read this policy carefully before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or accessing any part of the Whip-Lash University App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use Whip-Lash University. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Community Standards & Acceptable Use
Whip-Lash University is a professional community built for beauty professionals. By using the App, you agree to:
Treat all members with respect, dignity, and professionalism
Share only accurate and truthful information
Not post spam, unsolicited advertisements, or commercial solicitations without authorization
Not harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten other members
Not share offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or harmful content
Not violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable precaution to protect your data.
5. Courses & Paid Services
All course purchases are final unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Course content is licensed for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, record, or share course content without prior written permission from Whip-Lash University.
Prices for courses and services are subject to change with reasonable notice.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within the Whip-Lash University App including courses, logos, graphics, text, videos, audio, and community content created by Whip-Lash University is owned by or licensed to Whip-Lash University and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written consent.
7. User-Generated Content
By posting content in discussions or community features, you grant Whip-Lash University a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App. You remain solely responsible for all content you post.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Information in the community is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional business, legal, medical, or financial advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Whip-Lash University and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Whip-Lash University and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, for violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting [email protected].
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cobb County, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
